Part of the requirements for girls camp is to go on a 5 mile hike. You don't have to do it all at once but you do have to do a total of 5 miles. At camp, we did a three mile hike and so it was our responsibility to organize and do the other two miles. We were honored to have two Priesthood holders, Brother Leal and Brother Hess, go with us on our hike. They provide a good amount of protection, safety, and comedic relief for the "strenuous" (not really) hike. We hiked a mile and a half, stopped at North Bingham Park and played a round of frisbee golf. The game was very new for most of the girls and quite honestly, quite hilarious to watch...but they had fun and the dads got to show off their awesome frisbee throwing skills.
